HUD FY2019

FY 2019 HUD CoC Competition Materials Released through PHIL NOFA

Please be advised that the Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD's) Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Fiscal Year 2019 Continuum of Care Program Competition was released on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. Funds available to the Kings/Tulare bi-county region are $2,625,748 for programs that serve people experiencing homelessness.

The Kings/Tulare Homeless Alliance (Alliance) has issued a Notice of Funding Availability through the Pool for Homeless Initiatives Locally (PHIL). We encourage new agencies that do not currently receive CoC Program Funds, as well as current recipients, to consider applying for a new project through this funding opportunity.

A mandatory Applicant Workshop will be held via webinar on: Thursday, August 1, 2019 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/729468637

All applications will be reviewed by the Rating and Ranking committee; an unbiased committee who will score the applications based on the Application Selection and Ranking Process.

The Alliance is committed to ensuring that persons of all abilities are able to participate. For persons needing special accommodations to participate in the Applicant Workshop or any other aspect of the competition, please contact Laura Fisher at (559) 738-8733.
