Thank you for your interest in getting involved with KTHA. There are a number of ways you can help people experiencing homelessness in Kings and Tulare Counties.

LINC Volunteer Opportunities

Are you interested in supporting one of our Local Initiatives Navigation Center (LINC) events by volunteering or making a donation? Please contact Corrin Mallory, Housing Specialist, at cmallory@kthomelessalliance.org.

Client Sponsorship

When our clients move from their current living situations into a home or apartment, they are often coming with only the clothes on their back. Help them successfully settle in to their new environments by sponsoring a client’s new home. Sponsorship can be done by an individual, family, agency, religious group, etc. For more information on how to sponsor a client please reach out to Leticia Hinojosa at leticiah@kthomelessalliance.org.

Homeless Survival Kits

We are currently working to create Homeless Survival Kits. The greatest need at the moment is winter items such as blankets, panchos, scarves, hats and beanies. Donations can be delivered to Kings Tualre Homeless Alliance in Visalia (1900 N. Dinuba Blvd Ste. G., Visalia, CA) from 8:00am - 5:00pm Tuesday - Thursday.

Hygiene Kits

One of the largest needs in our homeless community are hygiene kits. Each hygiene kit should be in a one quart ziplock bag and include each of the following items:

General Hygiene Kits

  • 2oz shampoo
  • 2oz conditioner
  • 2oz body was or individually wrapped bar of soap
  • Travel size deordorant
  • Tooth brush
  • Travel size tooth paste

Feminine Hygiene Kits

  • Tampons
  • Sanitary pads
  • Panty liners
  • Feminine wipes
